What is the Purpose of a Niche Blog?
There are many purposes for a niche blog, and why niche blogs are recommended over casual websites. In general, the purpose of a niche blog is to deliver quality content to a specific group of people. This makes a great opportunity for a blogger to start generating some income if the blog obtained “trust”.
Importance of Blogs
Niche blogs deliver content to a targeted group of people, ultimately having more appeal to the consumers who are interested in that niche. Fresh and quality content is what drives the consumers to keep coming back to your blog. A typical consumer would be much more likely to visit the “iPod Touch Covers” rather than “iPods” website, simply because “iPod Touch Covers” appeal to the group of people who are looking for covers for their iPods. The same concept applies to any other niche.
Niche blogs are ultimately more appealing to the more specific group of consumers because the content is therefore more targeted.
