2010 is here, but are you satisfied with your progress so far? Have you achieved your short term goals? Long term goals? How well did you do in 2009? If not too well, how much improvement are you expecting in 2010? What are your 2010 resolutions?
Those are just some of the questions you should be asking yourself. If you don’t find yourself satisfied with the answers, maybe you should get more serious about blogging, or perhaps set more realistic goals. I’ll share some tips on how to progress your blog to the next level.
How Frequently Do You Update?
Maintaining active readers is all about fresh new content. When your readers visit your blog on several occasions and notice that you haven’t updated your content, they might not come back for a long period of time, if ever. Infrequent postings is the recipe for a dead blog. Posting frequency is just as important as consistency.
How Consistent Are You?
Being consistent with your posting is vital. Readers want new content on the daily basis to keep them informed and satisfied. If you can’t provide that satisfaction they will look for it elsewhere. Maintaining active readers is all about consistent and frequent posting.
