This is probably the most obvious one. Advertising is a basic and most popular method bloggers use to make money from blogs. The most popular advertising program is Google’s AdSense. There are many other advertising programs such as Yahoo Advertising and Microsoft Advertising.
Affiliate Products
Often times, niche blogs promote a certain range of products or services that consumers might be interested in. Since you don’t have your own products to promote, you might want to promote other people’s products and get commissions for sales. There are a wide range of affiliate programs that you can sign up with. Check out the list of affiliate programs that you can affiliate with.
Advertising Space
When your website receives massive traffic, people will want to get a share of that. If your blog traffic looks appealing for someone who promotes similar products or services, they might want to place their advertising banner or link on your website for a fixed amount of money. Banners can range from $50 to $2000 a month for a single banner, depending on the amount of traffic. This is an excellent money maker that will always almost guarantee you money from traffic.
Paid Reviews
Paid reviews are an excellent way to make a lot of money from your blog. Of course, paid reviews require you to receive massive traffic, but is definitely worth it. One of the excellent paid review sites is ReviewMe. This program will pay you to review a product and write about it on your site. This is probably one of the biggest money makers bloggers use.
RSS Feed Ads
This is another way to make money from your blog. If you offer RSS Feed, (which you should) you can place ads directly into your RSS Feed. Although this isn’t the most excellent way to make money and your CTR won’t be too high, it’s still a way to generate that extra cash. It’s not recommended to place any ads in your RSS Feed until you have a lot of readers.
Text Advertising
Text Ads are relative advertisements that show up under double-underlined words within your text. When someone clicks those ads, you will receive commissions from it. It’s a nice way of advertising, as those ads don’t show up until readers hover the mouse over the double underlined words. This makes the ads much less intrusive as any other method. These are essentially the methods bloggers use to make money with the blogs. Of course, it’s not smart to put all your eggs in one basket, so this gives bloggers several methods of monetizing your blog.
